Job summary

City of McAllen is seeking a Groundskeeper to landscape and maintain city properties using hand and power tools. The role includes mowing, trimming, planting, watering, fertilizing, digging, and sprinkler system upkeep to ensure parks and facilities are well cared for.

Job description

Under immediate direction, the Groundskeeper landscapes and maintains grounds of property using hand or power tools or equipment. The employee typically performs a variety of manual tasks to include any combination of sod laying, mowing, trimming, planting, watering, fertilizing, digging, raking, and sprinkler systems.
