Job summary

Village of Little Chute is seeking a knowledgeable Parks Foreman to lead and support the maintenance and operation of parks, recreation facilities, and forestry assets. This role reports to the Operations Manager and Parks, Recreation and Forestry Director, guiding full-time and seasonal staff to ensure high-quality public spaces.

Core hours are Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM, with occasional weekend or after-hours work including weather-related emergencies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3–5 years of related work experience preferred.
• Experience operating heavy construction equipment desired.
• Aquatic Facility Certification and/or Individual Commercial Pesticide Applicator Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead, train, supervise, and work with full-time and seasonal staff.
• Forecast and plan future operational, maintenance, equipment, and staffing needs.
• Maintain high-quality parks and public spaces and support long-term planning.
• Work the core hours (Mon–Fri, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM) with possible weekend or after-hours duties including weather-related callouts.
