Job summary

The Village of Allouez Parks, Recreation, and Forestry Department is seeking seasonal Park Maintenance Laborers for the spring and fall seasons. We’re looking for individuals that are passionate about the outdoors and willing to put in extra effort to keep our parklands and athletic facilities top notch!

The ideal candidate will work on equipment and perform maintenance tasks across varied weather conditions, with starting pay at $19.00/hour and potential increases for returning team members.

Qualifications

• Ability to operate mowers, trucks, trailers and other power equipment.
• Knowledge of hand and power tools used in maintenance work.
• Ability to work in varied weather conditions.
• Ability to stand, bend, kneel, climb, reach and twist for tasks.

Responsibilities

• Maintain parklands and athletic facilities as part of seasonal teams.
• Operate and assist with maintenance equipment and tools.
• Perform tasks requiring physical effort in various weather conditions.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• Ability to operate mowers, trucks, trailers, and other power equipment
• Knowledge of hand and power tools used in maintenance work
• Ability to work in varied weather conditions
• Ability to perform tasks that require frequent standing, bending, kneeling, climbing, reaching, and twisting

Pay Rate: Starting hourly pay $19.00/hour- with the ability to garner increases for returning team members
