Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Parks and Recreation Administration, Government/Public Administration, or a related field.
• Two (2) years of progressively responsible supervisory experience in parks, facilities, or aquatic maintenance.
• Preferred CPRP/CPRE and CPO/AFO certifications.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance and repair of parks, recreation buildings, pools, fields, and playgrounds to ensure asset readiness.
• Manage aquatic facilities operations including water quality, inspections, and adherence to health codes.
• Plan and monitor renovations, upgrades, and capital improvements per the Parks Master Plan.
• Coordinate capital project timelines, budgets, and contractor performance with internal departments and vendors.
• Act as primary point of contact for planning, execution, and inspection of capital projects in parks and facilities.
• Direct preventive maintenance to reduce downtime and extend asset life across facilities.
• Ensure compliance with city, state, and federal safety and environmental codes.
