Job summary

Walmart is seeking a capable landscaping and facilities maintenance associate in Broken Arrow, OK. You will operate, inspect, and maintain heavy equipment and vehicles, perform seasonal exterior maintenance, and coordinate with teams to standardize equipment and reduce costs.

The role requires 2 years in landscaping/gardening, DOT medical pre‑hire, and ability to read and speak English. A valid driver’s license and clean driving record are essential.

Qualifications

• 21 years of age or older.
• Valid state-issued driver’s license.
• No convictions for DUI, DWI, OUI, or reckless driving involving alcohol or drugs within the last three (3) years.
• No more than two (2) moving violations in the last three (3) years, if driving a commercial motor vehicle.
• No serious traffic violations (as defined by Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations) in the last three (3) years, if operating a commercial motor vehicle.
• Successful completion of a DOT physical and medical certification pre‑hire.
• Ability to read and speak in the English language.
• 2 years’ experience in the landscaping/gardening industry.

Responsibilities

• Operates, inspects, and maintains vehicles and heavy machinery per safety procedures.
• Performs seasonal exterior maintenance activities including snow and ice management.
• Coordinates with Home Office support to standardize equipment and reduce on‑hand stock.
• Assists management with correcting ethical and compliance issues.
• Controls costs by performing price comparisons and submitting required forms.
