Job summary

New York Racing Association (NYRA) is seeking an Associate Transportation Manager (Parking) to supervise parking operations and transportation logistics across our venues. You will ensure safe, efficient guest flow, coordinate with security and guest services, and implement best-in-class procedures during events and busy periods.

The role requires overseeing day-to-day activities, mentoring junior staff, and ensuring accurate reporting of logs and schedules.

Qualifications

• Experience leading on-site teams in fast-paced customer-facing environments.
• Knowledge of parking systems, traffic flow, and guest movement logistics.
• Strong problem solving and decision making with real-time challenges.

Responsibilities

• Execute day-to-day parking operational plans and safety protocols.
• Oversee parking, traffic flow and transportation logistics during shifts.
• Address guest concerns related to parking, shuttles, and access.
• Reconcile daily parking activity, shuttle logs, and staffing reports.
• Coordinate crowd flow strategies and event parking plans with partners.
• Provide feedback to improve traffic management and guest navigation.
• Coach junior team members on procedures, safety, and service standards.
