Job summary

Auraria Campus is seeking a Field Equipment Technician to oversee parking equipment, parking technology systems, and state fleet vehicles across the Auraria Campus. You will ensure systems run smoothly via preventive maintenance, proper documentation, and vendor coordination.

You will assist in deployments, provide technical guidance, and train staff, contributing to a positive customer service experience across the campus and collaborating with operations to meet department goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• One year of experience in equipment maintenance or a related technical field.
• One year of experience troubleshooting electronic equipment, network-connected systems, or related technical equipment.
• One year of experience with cash handling and financial accountability procedures.
• Must possess a valid unencumbered Colorado driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the maintenance, operation, and troubleshooting of parking equipment, including lot pay stations, meters, and management software.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, networking, and connectivity issues with Auraria Campus IT and vendors.
• Maintain documentation of maintenance activities, system performance, and equipment diagnostics.
• Assist with equipment deployment, setup, and logistics for new and existing mechanical systems.
• Provide training and technical guidance to staff and ensure safety procedures are followed.
• Coordinate with vendors and campus partners to support budget alignment and projects.
