Job summary

Auraria Campus in downtown Denver is seeking an Operations Coordinator for Parking & Transportation Services to oversee day-to-day shift operations, supervise staff, and ensure compliance with parking regulations and customer service standards.

You will collaborate with the Assistant Director and Senior Operations Coordinator to maintain operational efficiency, support departmental processes, and foster staff development while managing fleet, equipment, and incident response.

Qualifications

• Valid unencumbered Colorado driver’s license.
• One year of supervisory experience in operations, transportation, parking service, or related field.
• One year of experience training and coaching staff in a customer-facing environment.
• One year of operational management experience in related field.
• One year of experience with cash handling and financial accountability protocols.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise Parking & Transportation staff and student employees.
• Provide onboarding, training, and coaching to ensure policy adherence and performance.
• Manage daily shift operations, scheduling, dispatch support, and issue resolution.
• Oversee fleet and equipment use, inspections, maintenance reporting, and tool readiness.
• Oversee shift-level parking enforcement activities and KPI tracking.
• Assist with event setup/breakdown for special parking events; support signage and traffic control.
• Provide hands-on customer service support and incident response.
