Job summary

ASM Global is hiring a part-time Parking Supervisor at Save Mart Center. The role oversees lot operations, directs shift staff, ensures traffic flow, and maintains cash controls while providing excellent customer service.

You will report to the Parking Manager, supervise attendants, and coordinate with police during events, ensuring safety and orderly parking during busy times. This position requires a high school diploma and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Must possess working knowledge of parking practices and procedures including monetary reconciliation, traffic control setup/teardown and strong customer service.
• Must have safety knowledge and training to assure a safe environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Prior supervisory experience is a plus; minimum two years parking lot experience.

Responsibilities

• Reports directly to the Parking and Security Manager.
• Supervises, assigns duties and trains all parking employees.
• Inform Parking and Security Manager of issues as soon as they arise.
• Acts as main parking contact for Police Traffic Control during major events.
• Oversees all parking procedures on assigned shift.
• Ensure safety measures are provided and in place for staff and others.
• Monitors performance of parking personnel and adherence to procedures.
• Monitor parking sales, process cash receipts and tickets per internal control procedures.
• Maintain overall integrity of cash control function.
• Handle customer complaints and inquiries professionally.
• Monitor inventory of supplies and equipment.
• Other related duties as assigned.

FLSA STATUS: Hourly, Non-exempt

Job Summary

Responsible for directing and observing the lot attendants during work shifts. Directing and observing the orderly flow of traffic for all venue events while keeping upper Management informed of updated traffic progress as needed.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Reports directly to the Parking and Security Manager
• Supervises, assign duties and trains all parking employees
• Must inform Parking and Security Manager of any issues as soon as they arise
• Acts as main parking contact for Police Traffic Control during major events
• Responsible for overseeing all parking procedures on assigned shift
• To assure all safety measures are provided and in place for staff and others
• Monitors the performance of parking personnel to assure all department procedures are followed during shifts
• Monitor parking sales, process cash receipts and tickets through ASM Global’s established internal control procedures
• Maintain overall integrity of cash control function
• Handles customer complaints and inquiries in a professional manner at all times.
• Monitors and maintains inventory of supplies and equipment
• Other related duties as assigned

EXPERIENCE

Must be a high school graduate or equivalent. Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. Prior supervisory experience a plus. Minimum of two years parking lot experience.

This position requires the ability to work under pressure and in a fast paced environment. Must follow written and oral directions from upper Management. Must have the ability to multi-task. Must be able to interact within a diverse environment. Must have the ability to take charge and direct staff in a profession manner at all times. This position requires the ability to act and respond professionally and politely to all individuals and work as a team member. Must be able to stand long periods of time. Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds at a time.

Working Conditions

Must be able to work varied schedules & flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays. Must be able to tolerate hot and/or cold weather conditions for the duration of each work shifts.
