KANSAS SPEEDWAY

Kansas Speedway, which opened in 2001, is located in the heart of the Midwest in Kansas City, Kansas. With easy access to major highways, along with the Hollywood Casino at Kansas Speedway, restaurants, shopping, and other entertainment, Kansas Speedway has easily become a destination for fans. The track hosts two NASCAR Cup Series races, the NASCAR Xfinity Series, the NASCAR Gander RV and Outdoors Truck Series, and the ARCA Menards Series. In addition to two race weekends, Kansas Speedway hosts over 200 event days each year.

Kansas Speedway is looking for individuals with great attitudes and customer service to join our Parking Services team. Parking Services employees are responsible for directing traffic and Kansas Speedway guests safely to open parking spots as directed by management while providing excellent customer service and accepting payment when required. Event staff must be able to work May 8-11 and September 25-28, 2025. Join our team where we provide the Best Guest Experience in motorsports!

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Evaluate parking area to ensure optimal utilization and maintain safety of all guests as well as exiting guests safely off the property.
2. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
3. Ensure traffic flow and parking allows for access of emergency vehicles.
4. Collect payment from guests when required.
5. Maintain knowledge of facility and event, i.e., providing directions.
6. Assist with clean-up of debris from parking lots when needed.
7. Utilize hand signals and lights to direct guests into open spots.
8. Position and move barricades, cones, and signage as needed.
9. Manage and resolve guest questions while providing excellent customer service.
10. Communicate with supervisors with relevant information about guests violating rules or if suspicious activity is observed.
11. Cell phone usage is not allowed while directing traffic.
12. Individuals driving rental vehicles and/or golf carts must possess a valid driver’s license and pass a motor vehicle license inspection.

Qualifications:

1. Applicants must be 18 years of age or older.
2. Able to walk and stand for your entire shift and lift up to 20 pounds.
3. Prepared to work in all weather including windy, muddy, or rainy conditions.
4. Reliable transportation to and from the track location.
