Job summary

Ace Parking is seeking an Operations Manager in Tacoma, WA to lead parking attendants and a valet staff, guiding operations to meet standards of safety and service excellence. You will oversee daily activities, personnel management, and procedures to maximize efficiency.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in parking or transportation management, strong leadership and communication skills, and the ability to manage cash handling and facilities maintenance.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of parking or transportation management experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and experience.
• Strong leadership and management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Physical ability to lift heavy items (50 lbs).
• Financial acumen is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations, ensuring adherence to procedures and standards.
• Plan personnel utilization, interview, selection, training oversight, and supervision.
• Develop and implement procedures to optimize efficiency and customer service.
• Oversee cash handling procedures and submit reports of collections.
• Recruit, hire, train, and schedule staff; hold team accountable.
• Foster professionalism, accountability, and exceptional customer service.
• Maintain a safe environment for employees and guests, including traffic control.
