Job summary

LAZ Parking in Atlanta is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the Parking Manager at Emory University. The role ensures efficient traffic flow, customer satisfaction, and compliance with policies while optimizing parking resources.

You will lead, train, and supervise attendants, monitor equipment, prepare reports on occupancy and revenue, and coordinate with security and staff during events.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in parking operations, hospitality, or facility management.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in day-to-day parking operations, including staffing, scheduling, and facility maintenance.
• Monitor parking equipment functionality and coordinate repairs or replacements as needed.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies.
• Address customer inquiries, complaints, and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
• Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through proactive engagement and problem-solving.
• Support revenue collection processes, including cash handling and reconciliation.
• Prepare and review daily/weekly reports on occupancy, revenue, and performance.
• Assist in training, coaching, and supervising attendants and other staff.
• Monitor employee performance and provide feedback to ensure service quality.
• Ensure adherence to local regulations, company policies, and security protocols.
• Coordinate with security teams to maintain a safe environment for customers and staff.
• Support implementation of new technologies or systems to improve efficiency.
• Assist in planning for special events or peak periods requiring additional parking coordination.
