Job summary

SP+ is seeking a location Operations Assistant in Jersey City to support daily parking operations, maintain client relations, and promote a professional image. You will assist with equipment maintenance, safety reporting, and general duties under the Facility Manager’s direction.

The role requires a minimal high school diploma and basic related experience, with a driver’s license if driving is involved. Eligible benefits and a supportive team environment are offered.

Qualifications

• Education/Experience: Minimal high school diploma or equivalent and minimal month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Oral Communication: Speaks clearly; Listens and gets clarification; Responds well to questions.
• Written Communication: Writes clearly and informatively; Able to read and interpret written information.
• Customer Service: Maintains positive attitude. Responds to requests for service and assistance.
• Adaptability: Adapts to changes in the work environment; Able to deal with change, delays, or unexpected events.
• Judgment: Exhibits sound and accurate judgment.
• License Requirement: Valid state-issued driver's license if driving is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in day-to-day management of a location within contractual guidelines.
• Participate in programs to improve client and customer satisfaction.
• Assist with management duties as assigned.
• Courteously assist customers.
• Assist in maintenance and repair of parking equipment and general tasks as directed by the Facility Manager.
• Report accidents, safety hazards or policy violations to the Facility Manager.
• Assist with cleanup of debris, spills, and other hazards.
• Possess thorough knowledge of garage areas and major local streets.
