Job summary

Metropolis Technologies is seeking a Parking Attendant in Houston, TX, to help manage daily parking operations at the assigned location. You will maintain professional client relations, assist with staff scheduling, and ensure accurate closing reports and deposits.

The role requires a High School diploma and at least six months of parking experience, with valid driver’s license and strong customer service skills.

Qualifications

• Education / Experience Required: High School Graduate. A minimum of six months of parking experience preferred.
• Availability to Work: Some shifts may require weekends or evenings.
• License: Valid state-issued driver’s license with current address and clean record.
• Oral Communication: Clear, concise spoken communication.
• Written Communication: Written information should be clear and accurate.
• Customer Service: Strong customer orientation and professional demeanor.
• Adaptability & Judgment: Able to adapt to changes and exercise sound judgment.
• Physical Demands: Standing, walking, occasional lifting up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist in day-to-day management of the location under contractual guidelines.
• Support client relations and promote a professional image.
• Participate in programs to improve client and customer satisfaction.
• Assist in completing evening closing reports and processing bank deposits.
• Schedule staff and supervise frontline personnel.
• Prepare month-end reports and review cashier shift reports.
• Assist with maintenance and repairs of parking equipment.
• Report accidents or safety hazards to the Facility Manager.
• Maintain knowledge of the garage layout and surrounding area.
• Other duties as needed by the Facility Manager.
