Job summary

Alcorn State University in Mississippi seeks a Coordinator of Parking Services to oversee daily parking operations, process tickets and fines, manage decal sales, and support the program with data analysis and reporting.

You will ensure excellent customer service to faculty, staff, students and visitors, assist with budget preparation, and help implement new technology to improve processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, or related field.
• Three (3) years’ technology and accounting experience.
• Two (2) years’ parking service experience.

Responsibilities

• Assists with provision of support and service to the university community related to parking operations, including ticket and fine processing, payment processing of parking fees, and management of fine appeals.
• Provides outside support and service to the university community related to parking operations.
• Develops, tracks, and analyzes decal distribution/sales and citation processing data.
• Plans and manages applicable computer systems, develops ideas, and applies new technology through continuous process improvement.
• Ensures that superior customer service is provided to faculty, staff, students, and visitors.
• Administers parking operational guidelines and support to parking officers.
• Completes required reports and assists in departmental budget preparation.
• Other related duties, as assigned.
