Job summary

Hudson and Associates, LLC is seeking a Meter Collector to perform daily coin collections from city parking meters within a defined route. The role requires integrity, attention to detail, and the ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.

You will collect, document, and report cash, perform basic meter maintenance, and ensure timely deposits. Strong communication and the ability to complete paperwork accurately are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving history.
• Knowledge of City streets.
• Ability to lift 15+ pounds and walk extended periods.
• Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Strong public relations and customer service skills.
• Capable of completing paperwork accurately.

Responsibilities

• Collect coins from parking meters on an assigned route.
• Report hazards to the Collection Driver.
• Document all field activities and keep records.
• Report meter theft or vandalism promptly.
• Perform basic repairs on meters when needed.
• Respond professionally to public questions/ complaints.
• Check in/out of property, tools, uniforms, vehicles.
• Complete required paperwork and reports on time.
• Present daily performance reports as assigned.
• Record meter condition on routes; report faults.
• Move meters as instructed; maintain tidy area.
