Job summary

LAZ Parking in Los Angeles is seeking a Parking Meter Coin & Data Collector to support revenue and data collection for the City of Los Angeles Parking Meter Management team. You will securely collect coin revenues from meters on designated routes, report faults, and provide customer support along the way.

The role requires an early start at 5:45am, walking routes, and teamwork to ensure accurate deposits. Driving box trucks is a plus; this position offers paid training, 401(k) with employer

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of outdoor work experience.
• General knowledge of streets and directions.
• Experience outdoors or early mornings is a plus.
• Safety-minded and able to follow maps and procedures.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in varying weather.
• Ability to speak, read, and comprehend English.

Responsibilities

• Retrieve and deposit parking meter coin revenue along assigned routes.
• Report meter condition and non-collected meters during collection.
• Load used coin vaults and assist with return to collection facility.
• Use collection maps to understand routes and schedules.
• Work as a team while following safety and security protocols.
• Represent LAZ Parking professionally to clients and the public.
• Handle special tasks as requested by supervisors.
• Maintain and care for company equipment.
