Description: The Meter Technician performs inspections, installations, repairs, cleaning, maintenance and testing of parking meters. They are also required to make the necessary programming adjustments to all parking equipment.
Job Purpose: We are looking for a dedicated skilled laborer to assist with the maintenance and operations of parking meters. The successful candidate will be responsible for the inspections, installation, repairs, maintenance, and testing of all parking meters. Our Meter Technicians are expected to be skillful in the areas of technology and construction. They should always know the appropriate responses, no matter the situation in accordance with established policies and procedures. This position plays a vital role in achieving our customer service goals and revenue growth objectives.

Job site conditions may be hazardous at times. You'll be responsible for keeping up with the latest safety measures and ensuring they're in place for the benefit of the public and all crew members. You may have extensive contact with the public and will be responsible for keeping accurate records of your investigations, job performance and results.
Job Responsibilities:
Physical requirements include frequently lifting/carrying 25+ pounds; visual acuity, speech and hearing; hand and eye coordination and manual dexterity necessary to operate two-way radio and a motor vehicle. Subject to walking, standing, sitting, and kneeling to perform essential functions. Working conditions are primarily outside with frequent exposure to temperature extremes, dust, damp/wet surfaces, and high noise levels.
