Job summary

Hudson and Associates, LLC is seeking a Meter Technician to inspect, install, repair, clean, maintain and test parking meters. You will adjust programming on equipment and document field activities, reports, and service performance. Report to the Operations Manager and uphold safety standards on site.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, a valid driver's license, and the ability to work outdoors in varying conditions while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Knowledge of city streets and traffic safety rules.
• Ability to walk for extended periods.
• Good judgement and tact in tenuous situations.
• Ability to perform all physical requirements of the position.

Responsibilities

• Complete reports on meter repairs, installation, or maintenance.
• Report existing or potential work hazards.
• Document all field activities.
• Responsible for proper check in/out of property, including tools, uniforms and vehicles.
• Complete all required paperwork and reports in a timely and accurate manner.
• Present daily reports as assigned, detailing service performance.
• Maintain clean and tidy work area.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
