Meter Technician Baltimore ( Collections )

Responsibilities

• Assist in the collection and security of all monies received through parking meters, multi-space machines, pay on foot technology and any other means of collecting parking revenues and fees.
• Conduct daily check of routes for damaged meters and ensure that all meters are cleaned.
• Exercise proper judgment, tact and diplomacy in dealing with people; work alone or small team.
• Maintain flexibility in working hours; other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of geographical area.
• Knowledge of hazards and safety precautions.
• Ability to operate a motorized vehicle; lift at least 50 pounds.
• Ability to walk and stand for extended periods of time; work in all weather conditions.
• Good problem‑solving, time‑management and communication skills.
• Flexible, patient, diplomatic, tactful with high integrity and dependable.
• Must be available weekdays, evenings, holidays; valid driver’s license.
