Job summary

Coralville Community Aquatic is seeking a Parking Maintenance Worker to perform repair, upkeep, janitorial tasks and maintenance of parking facilities and equipment. The role includes snow removal and enforcing parking regulations, with evening and weekend shifts to support arena events.

This 40-hour-per-week position pays $29.05 per hour and includes benefits such as family health insurance for a modest monthly premium.

Qualifications

Parking Maintenance Worker

Under the general direction of the Parking Maintenance Supervisor, this position performs repair, upkeep, janitorial, and maintenance of parking facilities and related equipment. This position also performs snow removal tasks. Enforces City parking regulations and takes proper action when vehicles are in violation. This position is 40 hours per week and typically will work evenings and weekend in order to support the Xtream Arena/GreenState Family Fieldhouse and IRL events.

$29.05 per hour + benefits including family health insurance for just $35/month!

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years of increasing responsible experience in maintenance and repair of parking facilities and related equipment or comparable facilities and equipment, to demonstrate possession of the knowledge and abilities listed above.

Special Requirements

• Valid State of Iowa driver's license.
• Ability to work nights and weekends.

Miscellaneous Information

• Must pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen and live within 23 miles of the Coralville city limits after hire.
