The University of Iowa Parking & Transportation department is seeking a Parking Maintenance Worker I. This on-campus role assists in the installation, maintenance, and minor repair of parking equipment and facilities, and constructs traffic and parking signs.

The position requires a valid driver’s license and is scheduled for evening shifts. The work includes maintaining ramps and lots, handling equipment, and ensuring safety and cleanliness across campus.

Qualifications

• One year of related experience working with comparable equipment, both electrical and mechanical.
• Must possess a current, valid driver\'s license.

Responsabilités

• Assist in the installation, maintenance, and minor repair of parking equipment and facilities.
• Construct and install traffic, parking, and related signs.
• Maintain safety, readiness and cleanliness of parking ramps, surface lots, and pedestrian areas.
• Respond to ticket jams, pay station issues, and malfunctions of revenue/control equipment.
• Clean, paint and perform minor surface repair of parking lots.
