Job summary

Penn Medicine seeks a Parking Attendant to collect parking fees, issue receipts and monitor busy attended lots. You will process payments, summarize daily transactions, stamps tickets and deposit cash at shift end.

Qualified candidates have a high school diploma or GED, and 1 year of customer-facing experience; computer experience and some parking/retail background are preferred. This position is on-site with a rotating schedule.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED (Required).
• One year of experience working directly with customers.
• Six months experience working with computers or computerized equipment.
• One year each of parking attendant and retail experience is preferred for the position.
• Two years of interaction with a broad range of people.

Responsibilities

• Collects designated parking fees and issues receipts.
• Summarizes transactions and end-of-shift deposits.
• Monitors parking lot conditions and reports issues.
• Stamps tickets with time and charges.
• Operates cash register and makes change.
• Performs basic booth/exit area cleanup and other duties as assigned.
