Job summary

Metropolis Technologies in Miami Beach is seeking a Parking Attendant to maintain a smooth flow of vehicles and keep the lot clean and presentable. You will direct customers to spaces, count vehicles, and issue warnings for policy violations.

The role requires flexibility for various shifts, a valid driver's license if driving is involved, and a neat appearance. Benefits include medical, dental, vision and 401k options.

Qualifications

• Education/Experience: Less than High School education or 1 month related experience.
• License: Valid state-issued driver\'s license if able to drive a company vehicle.
• Availability to Work: 2nd/3rd shift and/or weekends may be required.
• Language Skills: Read, write and present information to customers and employees.
• Mathematical Skills: Basic arithmetic with dollars.
• Appearance: Neat, clean and in uniform.
• Physical Demands: Stand, walk, and lift up to 25 pounds.
• Salary Range: $16.46 per hour

Responsibilities

• Direct incoming customers to available parking spaces.
• Count vehicles on location throughout shift.
• Write and issue violation warnings to tenants and visitors.
• Patrol parking levels on foot or in carts when applicable.
• Assist customers who forgot where they parked their vehicle.
• Control traffic at entrances and exits as needed.
• Report accidents or safety hazards to the Facility Manager.
• Maintain knowledge of garage areas and local streets.
