Job summary

Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta is seeking a Parking Services Coordinator to supervise campus parking operations, drive and operate company vehicles as needed, and ensure safe, efficient traffic flow for patients, visitors and staff.

This role requires 1 year of parking/transportation experience, a high school diploma, and a valid Georgia driver’s license. You will maintain records, respond to inquiries, and help keep facilities clean and secure.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of parking or transportation experience.
• Valid Georgia driver's license and insurable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Operate and drive Children’s vehicles throughout the organization’s premises as needed.
• Assist with parking operations of garage, parking lots, and traffic flow.
• Inspect garage and parking lots/decks several times throughout the day.
• Ensure safe and efficient traffic patterns for all patients, visitors and staff.
• Report parking/traffic concerns or incidents in lots to supervisor/manager.
• Assist pedestrians and visitors with wayfinding as needed.
• Keeps accurate, legible records of all work performed in accordance with department policies and procedures.
• Respond professionally and promptly to the needs of all customers including inquiries, concerns or complaints.
• Performs groundskeeping on parking lots, walkways, and buildings grounds.
• Picks up discarded items on building grounds, empties external trash receptacles, pressure washes walkways, and cleans parking areas.
• Maintain a high standard of cleanliness in public areas.
• Identify and submit maintenance work orders such as lighting, signage, maintenance issues, etc.
• Monitor facility entrances and parking areas/walkways during adverse weather conditions.
