SP Plus Corporation in Chicago, IL is seeking a friendly, customer-focused Parking Attendant to guide guests, direct traffic, and ensure a seamless, checkout-free experience. You will patrol the garage, issue warnings as needed, assist customers who misplaced their vehicle, and help maintain safe operations across all levels of the facility.

The role requires a valid state driver’s license, the ability to operate a manual transmission if needed, and willingness to work varied shifts.

Qualifications

• A valid state driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• Ability to safely drive a vehicle with manual transmission is a plus.
• Availability to work second/third shift and weekends.
• Proof of eligibility to work legally in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Direct incoming customers to available parking spaces for a seamless experience.
• Count vehicles on location as needed.
• Write and issue violation warnings for garage policies.
• Assist customers who forgot where they parked.
• Maintain punctuality and wear a uniform.
• Control traffic at entrances and exits.
• Assist in maintenance of parking equipment and other duties as directed by the Facility Manager.
• Report safety hazards or policy violations to the Facility Manager.
