Job summary

SP+, a Metropolis company, is seeking a seasonal parking attendant in Nashville, TN. You will oversee car flow, guide customers, and maintain lot presentation while ensuring safety and policy compliance.

The role requires basic education, a valid driver's license, and flexibility for 2nd/3rd shifts or weekends. You will be expected to stand, walk, and assist with parking equipment, reporting any incidents to the Facility Manager.

Qualifications

• Education/Experience Required: Less than High School education or one month related experience, training or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• License Requirement: valid state-issued driver’s license with current address and acceptable driving record if driving company vehicle.
• Availability to Work: 2nd/3rd shift and/or weekends may be required depending on location hiring needs.
• Language Skills: Read, comprehend, and present information in one-on-one situations.
• Mathematical Skills: Add, subtract, and handle money figures.
• Appearance: Maintain neat, clean appearance and wear uniform.
• Physical Demands: Stand, walk, lift up to 25 pounds; occasional sitting or climbing.

Responsibilities

• Direct incoming customers to available parking spaces.
• Count vehicles on location during shift as needed.
• Write and issue violation warnings for garage policy violations.
• Patrol parking levels on foot or in carts.
• Assist customers who forgot where they parked.
• Be present on schedule, on time, in uniform.
• Answer customer questions or refer to Facility Manager as needed.
• Control traffic at entrances and exits as required.
• Assist in maintenance and repair of parking equipment as directed.
• Report accidents, violations, safety hazards, or unusual occurrences to the Facility Manager.
• Communicate debris, spills, or issues to garage office.
• Substitute for Valets when needed.
• Know all garage areas, major streets, landmarks, and freeways.
• Assist Facility Manager with other duties as needed.
