Job summary

Paycom - ATS in Baldwin Park, CA seeks a part-time Parking Attendant to deliver friendly customer service and oversee safety in the parking facility.

Based at 1011 Baldwin Park Blvd, you will greet customers, guide traffic, secure vehicles, and keep the booth clean and organized while complying with QA standards and supervisory instructions.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• California Driver License (if driving is required).
• Ability to drive manual and automatic vehicles (if driving is required).
• Must pass Integrity Survey.
• Must pass Fitness for Duties Test (Medical/Drug Screen).
• Willingness to undergo Background Check.
• Standing/Walking for long periods of time.
• Lifting, pushing, and pulling up to 25 lbs.
• Frequent bending/squatting.

Responsibilities

• Park and retrieve customers' vehicles in a safe and timely manner (if driving).
• Maintain a professional and friendly demeanor with customers and colleagues.
• Provide customer resolutions in a professional manner.
• Welcome and acknowledge customers per company standards; anticipate needs and show appreciation.
• Control traffic to ensure smooth flow and pedestrian safety.
• Maintain vehicle and key security (if driving).
• Verify supplies at the start of each shift.
• Keep booth neat, clean, and debris-free.
• Complete end-of-shift documentation.
• Monitor safety, security and cleanliness of parking areas.
• Arrive in uniform before/during shifts.
• Work with or without supervision.
• Meet QA expectations and standards.
• May be asked to perform small cleaning or maintenance tasks.
• Perform other duties as requested by Supervisors.

The Parking Attendant is responsible for providing excellent customer service while overseeing the safety and security of the parking facility.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Park and retrieve customers' vehicles in a safe and timely manner (only some positions require driving)
• Maintain a professional and friendly demeanor when working with both customers and employees
• Provide customer resolution in a professional and friendly manner
• Welcome and acknowledge all customers according to company standards; anticipate and address customers’ needs and thank customers with a genuine appreciation.
• Control traffic to ensure a smooth flow at all times, while ensuring pedestrians are safe
• Maintain security of vehicles and vehicle keys (If employed in a driving position)
• Verify the necessary supplies at the start of each shift
• Maintain a neat and orderly booth at all times that is free of debris and trash
• Complete the necessary end of shift documentation
• Monitor and maintain safety, security and cleanliness of parking areas
• Arrive in complete uniform before and during scheduled shifts
• Must work with or without supervision
• Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards
• May be asked by local management to complete small cleaning or maintenance tasks
• Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors
