Job summary

MODERN PARKING INC is seeking a Parking Attendant in Baldwin Park, CA to deliver excellent customer service and oversee safety and security of the parking facility. You will greet customers, direct traffic, and maintain a clean booth.

The role may involve driving; candidates must be 18+, possess a California driver license if driving is required, and be willing to undergo a background check and fitness for duties evaluation.

Qualifications

Job description

The Parking Attendantis responsible for providing excellent customer service while overseeing the safety and security of the parking facility.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Park and retrieve customers’ vehicles in a safe and timely manner (only some positions require driving)
• Maintain a professional and friendly demeanor when working with both customers and employees
• Provide customer resolution in a professional and friendly manner
• Welcome and acknowledge all customers according to company standards; anticipate and address customers’ needs and thank customers with a genuine appreciation.
• Control traffic to ensure a smooth flow at all times, while ensuring pedestrians are safe
• Maintain security of vehicles and vehicle keys (If employed in a driving position)
• Verify the necessary supplies at the start of each shift
• Maintain a neat and orderly booth at all times that is free of debris and trash
• Complete the necessary end of shift documentation
• Monitor and maintain safety, security and cleanliness of parking areas
• Arrive in complete uniform before and during scheduled shifts
• Must work with or without supervision
• Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards
• May be asked by local management to complete small cleaning or maintenance tasks
• Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be 18 years or older
• Current California Driver License (If driving is required)
• Ability to drive vehicles both Manual and Automatic (If driving is required)
• Take an Integrity Survey
• Willing to take a Fitness for Duties Test (Medical/Drug Screen)
• Willingness to undergo a Background Check
• Standing/Walking for long periods of time.
• Lifting, Pushing, and Pulling up to 25 lbs.
