Job summary

SP+, a Metropolis Company, seeks an Attendant (Non-Driving) for Garage B on the Marquam Hill campus in Portland. Hours are Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM, paying $18.00 per hour.

The role involves guiding customers to spaces, counting vehicles, issuing warnings, patrolling levels, and assisting patrons with parking questions. A successful candidate will be energetic, dependable and punctual, maintaining uniform appearance and reporting incidents to the Facility Manager as needed.

Qualifications

• Education/Experience: Less than High School education or one month related experience.
• License: Valid state-issued driver’s license with address and acceptable driving record.
• Availability to Work: Shifts may vary; include 2nd/3rd shift and weekends.
• Language Skills: Read, write and present information in simple form.
• Mathematical Skills: Add/subtract, handle money.
• Appearance: Neat, clean, in uniform.
• Physical Demands: Stand, walk, lift up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Direct incoming customers to open parking spaces.
• Count vehicles on location during shift.
• Issue violation warnings for garage policy infractions.
• Patrol levels on foot or with carts.
• Help customers locate their vehicle.
