Job summary

SP+ is seeking part-time, on-call Garage Attendants for downtown Portland SmartPark garages. You will direct customers to parking spaces, count vehicles, and issue warnings for policy violations while maintaining safety and cleanliness of the facility.

Ideal candidates work flexible day/evening/weekend shifts; Graveyard shifts may be required. On-site role with no driving required; strong customer service skills preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
• Education/Experience: Less than High School education or one month related experience, training or an equivalent combination.
• License: Valid state-issued driver’s license with address and acceptable driving record.
• Availability: Special shift requirements; may require 2nd/3rd shifts and weekends.
• Language Skills: Read and comprehend simple instructions; write simple correspondence.
• Mathematical Skills: Basic arithmetic with dollars.

Responsibilities

• Direct incoming customers to available parking spaces.
• Count vehicles on location during shift.
• Issue warning notices for policy violations.
• Patrol levels on foot or with motor carts.
• Assisting customers with parking location, questions, and direction.
