Qualifications

• Education: less than high school, or up to one month related experience or training, or equivalent combination.
• License: valid state driver's license with current address.
• Mathematical skills: add, subtract, multiply, divide, make change.
• Language: read, write, and present information clearly to customers and team.
• Reasoning: follow instructions and handle standard procedures.
• Other skills: use clock, calculator, and credit card machine to handle transactions, maintain pleasant demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Be present at scheduled days, on time, in uniform.
• Count starting bank of revenue; verify starting total.
• Collect cash and validations; maintain cash security.
• Issue receipts or tickets for each transaction.
• Compute or recompute bill from ticket; display cost.
• Operate cash register; input and display transaction amounts.
• Quote prices for parking services with cash received.
• Provide directions to customers in city.
• Complete lost ticket forms when needed.
• Resolve customer complaints with or without supervisor.
• Answer telephone promptly and courteously.
• Maintain booth cleanliness and surrounding area.
• Check inventory of work aids and supplies in booth timely.
• Verify shift transactions against cash in hand; report discrepancies.
• Record revenue, car in/out, and shift transactions.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
