Job summary

LAZ Parking in Providence, RI is seeking a dynamic team member to join our parking operations. You will promote excellent customer relations, supervise staff, and maintain facilities to ensure a safe, efficient experience for guests and clients.

We offer flexible scheduling (AM/PM/overnight), paid training, a uniform, and opportunities for growth, with benefits and a base pay that rewards performance. This role emphasizes reliability and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service experience is required.
• Must be able to work nights and weekends.

• Must be able to work unsupervised and make independent decisions.

Education

• High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.

Experience

• Strong customer service experience.
• Cash handling experience is preferred but not required.

Skills

• Ability to communicate professionally and effectively.
• Ability to work nights and weekends is a must.
• Able to work 5:00pm - 1:00pm shifts as needed.
• Flexible to work events with prior notice.
• Willingness to be flexible, work multiple facility locations.
• Ability to handle challenging and at times, emotionally charged situations.
• Must be able to work unsupervised.
• Must be able to make decisions independently and stay firm on decisions made (not easily persuaded).
• Demonstrates a sense of urgency and timeliness.
• Excellent team building and interpersonal skills.

Physical Demands

• Willingness to work in the elements -- heat, wind, snow, rain, etc.
• Ability to lift, push and pull at least 10 pounds.
• Ability to stand, walk and run for extended periods of time.
• Ability to bend, stoop, squat and lift frequently throughout a shift.
