LAZ Parking in Berkeley is seeking a Parking Ambassador to provide operations support by upholding parking guidelines and assisting customers throughout the garage.

The role requires 4PM–1AM availability, with a pay rate of $23.51 per hour. You will screen for placards, resolve complaints per policy, and maintain garage cleanliness and equipment while supporting special assignments.

**The Details**

Hours:Mon - Sun availability from 4PM -1AM

The Spirit of the Position:

The Parking Ambassador provides operational support by upholding and enforcing the parking guidelines while assisting customers with parking needs. The Parking Ambassador will greet and assist customers throughout the parking garage.

Responsibilities:

  • - Screen for parking placards and permits for special privileges within approved areas.
  • - Resolve customer complaints in accordance with policies and procedure
  • - Oversee general maintenance of the garage, sweeping, wiping down surfaces and equipment, emptying trash, picking up trash, etc.

Physical Demands:

  • - Willingness to work in the elements - heat, wind, snow, rain, etc.
  • - Ability to lift, push and pull at least 25 pounds.
  • - Ability to stand, walk and run for extended periods of time (95-100% of shift) - no sitting is allowed.
  • - Ability bend, stoop, squat and lift frequently throughout a shift.
