Job summary

Triad-Technologies-LL is seeking a full-time hourly associate to provide customer service for ParkerStore customers in-store, by email and phone, maintaining safety, responsiveness, knowledge, accuracy and engagement across ParkerStores at all times.

You will fabricate hydraulic, industrial and pneumatic hose assemblies, operate saws and crimpers, coordinate pickups, perform data entry, manage inventory counts, and help keep the showroom inviting with displays; overtime and after-hours

Qualifications

• High School diploma (or equivalent) required or preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and telephone skills.
• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with customers, vendors and Triad employees.
• Strong mathematical skills for calculations in various units of measure.
• Accurate keyboarding and data entry skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-store, email and phone customer service for ParkerStore customers.

Job description

This individual provides customer service for in-store, email, and phone ParkerStore customers. M-F 7:30am- 5pm; Full-time hourly position.Maintaining the Retail Business Unit Quality Standards: Safety, Responsiveness, Knowledgeable, Accuracy, and Engaging, across all ParkerStores at all times.Maintains personal relationships with existing store customers and develops relationships with new customers.Identifies and fulfills customer product and/or service requirements.Fabricates hydraulic, industrial and pneumatic hose assemblies to fulfill customer needs.Safely operates saws, crimpers and other power tools needed.Coordinates pick up transactions at the counter including locating and pulling orders as required.Performs computer data entry related to all areas of ParkerStore operations.Performs accurate cycle counts, orders products, transfers product to other locations, receives and stocks shelves with inventory.Works with store manager to maintain a professional store showroom appearance, assists in creating new displays and implements related marketing programs.Performs daily/weekly cleaning of store and bathroom(s).Along with the manager, is responsible for opening and closing the store.May serve as on-call for after-hours customer emergencies.Drives to deliver and pick up materials as needed.Other duties as assigned.High School diploma (or equivalent)Two to three years of related work experience preferred.Must have excellent interpersonal and telephone skills.Ability to communicate clearly, accurately, effectively and professionally with customers, vendors and other Triad employees.Reads and follow written work instructions.Possess strong mathematical skills- add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.Utilizing tools such as tape measures, micrometersAble to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.Able to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.Excellent attention to detailMust be able to handle products (inventory) up to 50 pounds.Must be willing to work overtimeMust be willing to support after-hour emergency calls during nights and weekends, as necessaryPossess accurate keyboarding skills (for data entry). To perform this job successfully, an individual should have Microsoft Office and Outlook knowledge. Knowledge of Prophet21 software and other vendor computer systems are preferred.Individuals must be willing to take a Mechanical Aptitude test.
