Job summary

Western National Parks Association in Carlsbad, NM seeks a Part-Time Retail Park Store Associate to support daily operations at Carlsbad Caverns National Park. You will deliver outstanding visitor service, handle sales, stock shelves, and merchandise while building strong park partner relationships.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required to work in a park setting.
• Prior retail and POS experience preferred for efficiency.
• Valid REAL ID driver’s license may be required for travel.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day retail store operations.
• Provide excellent visitor and customer service.
• Complete sales transactions.
• Assist store duties such as inventory, receiving, stocking, cleaning and merchandising.
• Maintain clean and effective product merchandising.
• Communicate educational value of store products to visitors.
• Assist with special events after hours and on weekends.
• Participate in physical inventory and year-end counts.
• Act as an ambassador of WNP and the NPS.
