Job summary

Jackson County, Missouri is seeking a Parks + Rec supervisor to manage daily operations and maintenance within the division. You will oversee projects, allocate resources, and supervise junior staff to ensure timely delivery of park services in Lee's Summit, Missouri.

The role requires a High School Diploma, 5 years in a related role with 1-2 years supervisory experience, and a Class B CDL with Air Brake endorsement within six months. Pre-employment checks are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or its equivalent.
• Five years of previous experience in an industry related position or craft, which includes one to two years of supervisory experience.
• Must complete Division specific training as directed.
• Must obtain a Class B Commercial Driver's License with Air Brake Endorsement within six months of hire.
• Must submit to/pass pre-employment background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for ensuring the successful operation and maintenance of specific division operations, making daily operational decisions
• Responsible for the operation and maintenance of assigned projects and the necessary associates and equipment by which to complete; responsible for recommending materials needed for work projects and estimating general associated costs, when required.
• Responsible for the supervision and training of junior staff.
