Job summary

Harris Beach State Park in Oregon seeks a permanent, full-time Park Ranger 2 to protect, maintain, operate, and repair park lands, resources, structures, facilities and systems. The role requires skills in carpentry, electrical, plumbing, painting, and landscape maintenance, plus interpretation and natural resource restoration within the Harris Beach Management Unit.

Qualifications

• Four years of visitor services experience and/or maintenance experience.
• Associate's degree with 2.5 years of visitor services experience and/or maintenance experience.
• Bachelor's degree with 1 year of visitor services experience and/or maintenance experience.

Responsibilities

• Protect, maintain, operate and repair park lands, resources, structures, facilities, equipment, and systems.
• Use carpentry, electrical, plumbing, painting and landscape maintenance skills.
• Provide resource interpretation and support special programs; enforce park rules.
