State of Nevada's Division of State Parks seeks a Park Ranger for the Walker River State Recreation Area, stationed at Flying M Ranch. You will support the Park Supervisor, oversee seasonal staff, and protect diverse natural and historic resources while performing field and administrative duties.

As a commissioned Park Ranger, you will enforce laws, handle incidents, issue citations, respond to emergencies, and mentor staff.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree or two years of related park experience as described.
• One year as Park Ranger Technician III in Nevada State service or an equivalent combo of education and experience.
• Experience organizing, supervising, and performing park maintenance or interpretive programming.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate and oversee day‑to‑day park operations and maintenance.
• Train and supervise seasonal staff and assign work.
• Manage visitor services, include fee collection and tours.
• Enforce park laws and respond to incidents and emergencies.
• Assist in resource management and interpretive programs.
