Job description

Northgate Resorts owns and manages the most awarded Camp-Resort portfolio in the nation. Our passion is creating family camping memories for our guests – memories that will last a lifetime! The Park Safety Staff is responsible for enforcing park rules to ensure the highest quality stay for our guests. This is a SEASONAL, full-time or part-time position and reports to the Park Safety Manager. This position is evenings and overnights as needed.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Guest Interactions
  • Strictly enforce quiet hours.
  • Assist in emergencies.
  • Promptly respond to guest concerns, resolve/de-escalate conflicts, and document issues within our reservations management system; escalating issues as needed:
    • Drunk or disorderly guests, noise complaints, animal complaints, and verification of reservation to ensure all parties allowed on the premises.
  • Assist with simple maintenance issues and late arrivals and check-ins.
• Other Essential Duties
  • Complete incident reports as required.
  • Ensure buildings, equipment, and amenities are locked around the park.
  • Understand reservations system to view occupancy and openings.
  • Document any guest issues in reservation systems and record for the next shift.
  • Participate in other projects and activities as assigned.

EDUCATION/TRAINING/EXPERIENCE

• Previous security experience required.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS

• Basic computer skills.
• Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail, speed, and accuracy.
• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong work ethic and a positive attitude.
• Required to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Work with minimal supervision.
• Maintain a positive work environment by acting and communicating in a manner so that you get along with customers, clients, vendors, coworkers, and management.
• Valid Driver’s License required.

ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to remain in a stationary position.
• Regularly move throughout the park.
• Continuously climb, balance, stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, and crawl.
• Able to manipulate fingers, hands, and arms to reach, carry, lift, etc.
• Constant exposure to outside weather conditions.
