Job summary

Busch Gardens is seeking an energetic Park Quality (Janitorial Overnight Cleaning) team member to support pre-opening prep duties. Responsibilities include trash disposal, sweeping, mopping, restroom cleaning, window washing, and cleaning of offices, breakrooms, and merchandise areas.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have Florida valid driver’s license and ability to meet company driving guidelines.
• Must be able to work overnight shifts 11pm–4am (Special Event nights 11pm–5:30am).
• Must be able to lift, carry, push and pull up to 50 lbs. frequently.
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying Florida weather.

Responsibilities

• Perform prep duties prior to park opening, including trash removal, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, window and mirror washing, restroom cleaning, office and breakroom cleaning, and store/merchandise area cleaning.
• Work in a team environment and interact professionally with ambassadors and others on site.
• Follow SOPs to provide a quality product and deliver efficient, courteous service.
• Perform other duties as assigned based on business need.

Park Quality (Janitorial Overnight Cleaning)

Compensation: $14.00 per hour

What you get to do

Working in Day or Night Park Quality, you’ll perform a wide variety of prep duties prior to the park opening.

This will include:

• trash removal/disposal
• sweeping
• vacuuming
• mopping
• window and mirror washing
• restroom cleaning
• office
• breakroom and hallway cleaning
• store/merchandise area cleaning
• cobweb removal/cleaning
• storage room/area cleaning

You will

Work in a team environment and interact with others in a professional manner

Perform prep duties prior to park opening include:

• restroom cleaning
• trash removal/ disposal

Follow standard operating procedures necessary to perform job functions to serve a quality product

Provide excellent service in an efficient and courteous manner

Perform other duties as assigned based on business need

What it takes to succeed

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Currently have Florida valid driver's license and ability to meet company driving guidelines, required
• Must be able to work overnight shifts 11pm - 4am (Special Event nights 11pm - 5:30am)
• Communicate effectively and professionally with ambassadors and all others conducting business on our properties
• Must be able to lift, carry, push and pull up to 50 lbs. on a frequent basis. Some specific work areas may require heavier lifting
• Perform the following physical activities on a frequent basis: kneel, squat, stand, walk, climb, bend floor- to- waist/waist-to-overhead and reach overhead, simple grasp and fine manipulation tasks
• Position engages in extensive walking and standing throughout entire work shift and climb/ascend heights if needed
• Must be able to work indoors and in dimly lit outdoors, in varying Florida weather, to include extreme heat.
• Position will be exposed to cleaning chemicals, fumes, dust, odors and possibly cold/heat temperature extremes
• Work a flexible schedule/hours based on business need, to include overnights, weekends, and holidays
