Job summary

SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment in Williamsburg, VA is seeking a Park Quality Team Lead to drive restroom standards, safety, and guest satisfaction. You will mentor ambassadors, schedule tasks, and ensure compliance with park policies while delivering high-quality cleanliness.

The role requires hands-on leadership, strong communication, and the ability to train staff across areas. You will monitor labor and safety checks, collaborate with other departments, and help maintain a welcoming park

Qualifications

  • 18+ years of age.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Able to positively interact with guests and coworkers from diverse backgrounds.
  • Valid state driver’s license preferred.
  • CPR/AED training/certification required.
  • Able to be trained and certified at all assigned areas.
  • Able to climb stairs/ladders.
  • Able to operate in tight spaces.
  • Able to use cleaning equipment.
  • Comfortable with noise and vibrations.
  • Able to work in all weather conditions.
  • Able to train on protective gear.
  • Comfortable around fumes/dust/odor.
  • Able to bend/sit/stand/kneel/reach movements.
  • Comfortable speaking in front of large groups.
  • Maintain composure during challenging situations.
  • Seasonal availability: peak 4 days/wk incl weekends; off-season 3 days/wk incl weekends.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop team members of the Park Quality team to maximize restroom presentation and safety.
  • Execute park quality tasks including deep restroom cleaning, stocking supplies, and general cleaning.
  • Represent the organization with a positive attitude and high energy.
  • Ensure a safe environment for all team members, guests, and animals.
  • Develop on-the-job training and coaching for ambassadors.
  • Ensure compliance with regulations, park policies, and procedures.
  • Monitor daily labor against budget and attendance.
  • Perform equipment and safety checks and respond to emergencies.
  • Communicate with other departments and complete daily/weekly reports.

What You Get To Do
  • Lead and develop team members of the Park Quality team. Primary focus is to maximize park presentation in restroom facilities through efficiency and effectiveness of work while fostering a culture of safety and accountability.
  • Execute common tasks for park quality including: top to bottom restroom cleaning, stocking restroom supplies, general cleaning and sanitizing.
  • Enthusiastically represents the organization by displaying a positive attitude, high level of energy and commitment to quality throughout all aspects of the job
  • Ensure a safe environment for all team members, guests, and animals
  • Responsible for the development of OJT’s and ambassadors by providing training, feedback and coaching
  • Ensure compliance to all state/federal regulations, park policies, and department procedures
  • Ensure ambassadors receive break and meal periods in accordance with company policy and applicable law
  • Maintain the highest level of cleanliness in the park, conduct quality inspections of assigned areas, and follow up on any opportunities to improve
  • Maintain inventory and stock/replace areas supplies and equipment as needed
  • Monitor daily labor to align with labor budget and daily attendance
  • Conduct equipment and safety checks in compliance with department and company standards
  • Attend to ambassadors and follow park protocol in emergency situations
  • Respond to ambassador and guest needs
  • Communicate effectively with other areas within the department as well as other departments in the park
  • Track information to complete daily and weekly reports
What It Takes To Succeed
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Able to positively interact with guests and co-workers of all ages, ethnic/cultural backgrounds, and/or language, and individuals with special needs
  • Possession of a valid state driver’s license preferred
  • Able to complete provided CPR/AED training/certification
  • Able to be trained and certified at all assigned areas and job functions
  • Able to climb stairs/ladders
  • Able to operate and maneuver in/around tight spaces
  • Able to use necessary equipment for cleaning
  • Comfortable with exposure to noise and vibrations
  • Able to work in all weather conditions and temperature extremes
  • Able to train on and properly use protective gear
  • Comfortable working around fumes/dust/odor
  • Able to bend, sit, stand, squat, stoop, walk, kneel, reach with hands and arms at shoulder level or below, climb and reach with hands and arms above shoulder level
  • Comfortable speaking in front of large groups of guests and team members
  • Able to remain calm and professional during challenging situations
  • During peak season, at least 4 days of unrestricted availability with one day being a weekend day, and availability to work holidays
  • During the off season, at least 3 days of unrestricted availability with one day being a weekend day, and availability to work holidays
Compensation: 15.00 USD
