Job summary

City of Doral is seeking a part-time, non-exempt park attendant to supervise participants in city-coordinated programs such as tennis camps and youth activities, and to maintain park facilities while enforcing park rules. This role reports to the Park Manager and Assistant Park Manager.

The position is non-exempt, part-time (less than 29 hours per week), with duties including setup/breakdown of events, inspections for safety, customer service, basic cleaning, and adherence to safety regulations.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Valid Florida driver’s license with clean record.
• Additional camp/instructor training desirable.
• Fluent in English; Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manages semi-skilled maintenance and repairs of buildings/grounds.
• Assists with setup/breakdown of City events and activities.
• Performs park inspections to ensure safety of the public and facilities.
• Identifies and helps fix safety hazards or injuries.
• Answers department phones and assists customers.
• Enforces park rules and administers first aid as required.
• General park maintenance and cleanup duties (trash, cleaning, restrooms, concessions).
• Performs other duties as assigned by Park Manager or Assistant Park Manager.
