Job summary

Travis County in Spicewood, TX seeks an entry-level Park Operations staffer to provide accurate park information, assist visitors, and enforce rules. You may staff a fee booth, handle gate receipts using a POS, and help with light maintenance at Bee Creek Sports Complex.

This role trains subordinates, assists with administrative tasks, and supports emergency responses. A valid Texas driver's license and bilingual Spanish/English are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and two years of parks experience with cash handling and customer service.
• Valid Texas Driver's License.
• Bi-lingual in Spanish and English preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists with administrative tasks such as purchase requests, work orders, permit and asset inventory.
• Provides accurate information to visitors and enforces park rules.
• Patrols parks, reports incidents, and assists with park projects and training subordinates.
• Collects fees, reconciles cash, and operates POS for gate receipts.
• Performs light maintenance and supports safety and emergency responses.
