Commonwealth of Pennsylvania's Bald Eagle State Park seeks a Park Maintenance Worker to keep facilities welcoming and safe. This hands-on, outdoor role involves maintaining park buildings, grounds, and marina systems while assisting visitors.

As a seasonal, full-time employee, you will perform repairs, grounds maintenance, equipment care, and simple construction tasks with a focus on safety and service. The schedule runs roughly March through November, with shifts including holidays and weekends.

Qualifications

• Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: One year of experience in laboring work including the use of tools and equipment; or an equivalent combination of experience and training.
• Other Requirements: You must meet the PA residency requirement. You must be able to perform essential job functions.

Responsibilities

• Facility repairs: Make repairs to park buildings and structures using basic trade tools.
• Ground maintenance: Maintain lawns, trails and outdoor areas by mowing, trimming, and cleaning.
• Equipment care: Clean and maintain vehicles and equipment used throughout the park.
• Marina support: Assist with installation and repair of marina systems and courtesy docks.
• Construction tasks: Build forms, mix cement and complete simple masonry work.
• Visitor assistance: Provide helpful information and support to park visitors.
