Job summary

Harris County Precinct 4 is seeking a dedicated Groundskeeper for Katy Park in Katy, TX. The role supports the Parks Department by maintaining park grounds, assisting with landscaping, and upholding safety and cleanliness standards under supervision.

Ideal candidates will have a HS diploma or GED, a Texas driver’s license, and some groundskeeping experience. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus. The position is full-time and subject to a background check and drug screening.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Six months of related groundskeeping, landscaping, or facilities maintenance experience preferred.
• Valid Texas driver’s license with good driving record required.

Responsibilities

• Operate a variety of small engine equipment.
• Mow, trim, weed, and edge grass and landscaped areas.
• Prune or remove shrubs and trees, including deadfall.
• Clean restrooms and remove trash.
• Be available before, during, or after emergencies as needed.
