Job summary

The Village of Pinecrest is seeking an on-site grounds maintenance worker to care for public greens, parks, and right-of-ways. You will mow, prune trees, operate power equipment, and assist in building and road maintenance as part of daily duties.

Responsibilities include safety-focused traffic control, equipment inspections, and participation in storm readiness activities. A high school diploma or GED and two years’ related experience are required.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED and two years of grounds maintenance experience.
• Experience with painting, minor repairs, and equipment is desirable.
• Valid pesticide license within 2 months is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform mowing, edging, weeding, and routine grounds maintenance.
• Prune and maintain trees; operate and repair related equipment.
• Conduct traffic safety and support for public right-of-way projects.
• Perform general labor such as lifting, moving materials, and cleaning facilities.
• Inspect and maintain tools and equipment; operate irrigation systems.
