Job summary

The Village of Pinecrest is seeking a park facilities attendant to maintain park areas, support events, and provide high quality service to visitors. Responsibilities include cleaning, minor building maintenance, cashiering, and assisting with program activities and theater setups.

Ideal candidates will have strong customer service skills, knowledge of safety rules, and the ability to work weekends or evenings as required. Fluency in English is essential; Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must have excellent customer service skills and be able to establish good customer relations.
• Knowledge of the materials, methods and equipment typically used in recreational work and clean up duties.
• Must have knowledge of basic rules of safety and ability to enforce applicable rules and regulations.
• Must have the physical strength and agility to perform assigned tasks including bending, twisting, walking, climbing, reaching, lifting and carrying.
• Must be able to fluently speak, hear, read and write in English; Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain park facilities by performing general maintenance and cleaning duties (trash, sweeping, mopping, toilets, restrooms, concession areas).
• Perform semi-skilled maintenance and minor construction tasks (pressure washing, painting, graffiti removal).
• Provide courteous customer service in person and by phone about programs, rentals and memberships.
• Monitor facilities and assist in park inspections to ensure safety; report hazards.
• Handle concessions and cashier duties including cash and card transactions.
• Operate admission booths selling tickets and collecting payments.
• Assist in coordinating activities, setting up rooms for events and rentals.
• Provide production assistance during performances and assist with theater scenery assembly.
• Enforce safety and department rules; perform other related duties.
