Job summary

Dakota County Parks is seeking a Park Keeper I at Lebanon Hills Park in Eagan, MN. This full-time role includes custodial work, maintenance of buildings and grounds, and snow removal during winter.

Responsibilities involve assisting park visitors and supporting other departments as needed. Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, one year of related experience, and a valid driver's license with CDL eligibility within the first year.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, with one year related work experience.
• Valid driver's license and ability to obtain a Class A CDL within the first year.
• Equivalent education/experience in natural resources, landscaping, custodial, grounds or building maintenance.
• Preferred: degree or training in facility operations, landscape design, or tree care.

Responsibilities

• Maintain park buildings and structures, perform custodial duties and repairs.
• Maintain park grounds including mowing, fertilizing, seeding, and trash hauling.
• Perform snow removal on walkways, trails, and parking lots.
• Operate park vehicles and equipment safely (tractors, mowers, etc.).
• Provide assistance to park visitors and other staff.
• Lead or supervise other staff as needed.
