Job summary

Department of Tourism and Recreation, Beavers Bend State Park is seeking a Customer Service Representative to support the front office, lodge, or resort operations. You will answer phones, handle reservations, post charges, manage guest accounts, and assist with guest services and gift shop duties.

The role requires strong communication, a valid driver’s license, and a willingness to work flexible hours including holidays and weekends. Background checks apply.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years of experience in sales, public contact work, handling and processing mail, or general office clerical work; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing.
• Must possess a valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Answer telephones, take messages, and provide information about park and/or lodge facilities.
• Receive walk‑in and phone‑in reservation requests.
• Post charges to guest accounts, including necessary corrections and transfers.
• Collect charges, process credit card vouchers, and close guest accounts.
• Check in/out recreation equipment, golf carts, etc. to lodge guests.
• Assist with gift shop at front desk with sales and restocking merchandise.
• Prepare various reports under general direction.
• Prepare correspondence, monthly reports, and other documents using office equipment and software.
• Perform general housekeeping in public areas.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
